U.S. Army Is Discharging Immigrants They Accepted Before

Discharging Immigrants Previously Accepted By The U.S. Army

It appears the U.S. Army is discharging enlisted members that they had previously accepted. This is a terrible policy decision, in my opinion. The U.S. has won many wars with the help of immigrant enlisted soldiers. Furthermore, to enlist and then discharge many who were promised eventual status in the U.S. seems very unfair.

In my opinion, anyone who is willing to fight for the U.S. and is honorably discharged should have a place in our society, but that is just my humble opinion. Anybody who served in the military and risked making the ultimate sacrifice is deserving of our gratitude.

We must never forget that freedom is not free. Our country owes a debt of gratitude to all who served in the military. Our brave soldiers demonstrated their commitment to us, and we must return the favor by demonstrating our commitment to them.

These brave soldiers are entitled to a place in our society permanently.
